Aurista Jewels — Return & Refund Policy

We want you to feel completely confident when you purchase from us. If something isn’t right, we’ll guide you through a simple return or exchange.

1) What can be returned

Eligible

  • Ready-made jewelry purchased directly from Aurista Jewels (rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, necklaces).

  • Loose certified diamonds or gemstones if the tamper seal and certificate sleeve are intact.

Not eligible

  • Custom or personalized pieces (including bespoke designs, CAD-approved orders, engravings, special sizes).

  • Items that show wear, damage, alteration, or resizing done after delivery.

  • Items without original packaging, all inclusions (invoice, diamond/gem certificate, authenticity card), and tags.

  • Final-sale or clearance items clearly marked as non-returnable.

  • Earrings where the hygiene seal is broken or removed.

Tip: Natural variations in color, inclusions, measurements, and on-screen color differences are normal in gemstones and diamonds. These are not defects.

2) Return window

  • You may request a return within 7 calendar days from the date your package is marked Delivered by the courier.

  • For manufacturing defects or wrong items received, notify us within 48 hours of delivery so we can arrange priority support.

3) Condition checklist (must meet all)

  • Unworn and in original condition.

  • Original box, outer shipper, pouches, and protective materials present.

  • All paperwork included: invoice, diamond/gemstone certificate (GIA/IGI/other), authenticity card.

  • Security tag(s) and any tamper-evident seals intact.

  • No scratches, dents, chips, signs of setting stress, or polishing marks.

Missing certificate: if a third-party certificate is lost or damaged, a replacement fee at actual cost will be deducted from the refund. Replacement timelines depend on the issuing lab.

4) How to start a return

  1. Email info@auristajewels.com or call +91 97253 92253 within the return window.

  2. Share your order number, the item you want to return, and a short reason.

  3. We will approve the request and issue a Return Authorization (RMA) with packing and shipping instructions.

  4. Pack the item securely. Place the jewelry box inside a plain outer box. Do not write “jewelry”, “diamond”, or similar on the outside.

  5. Ship using a trackable, insured service and share the tracking number with us.

For select pin codes in India, we may arrange a secure pickup. Availability depends on your location and item value.

5) Who pays for return shipping

  • Change of mind/size/style: customer pays return shipping and insurance.

  • Defect, transit damage, or wrong item sent: Aurista Jewels covers reasonable return shipping. We will advise a prepaid label or reimburse standard insured courier costs after verification.

  • International returns: customer pays all shipping, insurance, duties, and taxes. Duties and import fees paid at delivery are usually not refundable by carriers or customs.

6) Quality check and timelines

  • Quality check begins within 24 to 48 hours after the parcel reaches our facility.

  • If the item passes QC, we process the refund or exchange immediately.

  • If there is an issue (missing inclusions, wear, damage), we will inform you with photos and options.

7) Refund method and timing

  • Refunds go to the original payment method only.

  • Typical processing time: 7 to 10 business days after QC clearance. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit.

  • UPI/net-banking refunds post to the same account used for payment.

Partial deductions may apply if:

  • Certificates or inclusions are missing and require replacement.

  • There is any repair or restoration needed to bring the item back to saleable condition.
     We will always share details with you before proceeding.

8) Exchanges and resizing

  • You may request an exchange for a different size or model within the 7-day window, subject to availability and price difference.

  • Complimentary resizing (one time) may be available for eligible ring designs within standard size ranges. Some designs cannot be resized and may require a remake for an additional fee. We will confirm feasibility before you send anything back.

9) Damaged or incorrect items

  • If your order arrives damaged or you received the wrong product, contact us within 48 hours with unboxing photos and videos if available.

  • Keep all packaging until we confirm next steps.

  • We will prioritize a replacement, repair, or full refund after verification.

10) Cancellations

  • Ready-made items: you can cancel before dispatch and receive a full refund.

  • Custom orders: once design is approved, materials sourced, or crafting has begun, cancellations are not possible. If we allow a special exception, design/labor/stone procurement costs may be deducted.

11) Gifts

  • Refunds are issued to the original purchaser only.

  • If you received a gift, we can offer an exchange or store credit after QC, provided all return conditions are met.

12) Packaging instructions for returns

  • Use the original inner jewelry box and protective foam/pouch.

  • Place it inside a sturdy, unbranded outer shipping box.

  • Fill empty space with cushioning so the box does not move.

  • Insure the shipment for full value.

  • Do not describe contents as jewelry on the outer label.

13) What is not considered a manufacturing defect

  • Natural inclusions and color zoning within gemological tolerance.

  • Minor measurement tolerances in weight or dimensions.

  • Normal wear and tear from use.

  • Screen-to-real-life color differences.

  • Post-delivery damage, accidents, or third-party alterations.

14) Helpful notes for treated and lab-grown stones

  • Many gemstones and some diamonds can be treated to enhance color or clarity. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds created in a controlled environment.

  • Any disclosed treatment or lab-grown origin is not a defect. Returns for “preference change” are allowed only if the item is eligible under this policy and in unused condition.
